The ps/ulm/esd/a system combined with the ulm/s12me ultrasonic sensor is used to measure distance in liquids, e.g. the piston position in hydraulic cylinders.

Housing and Installation

The electronics, including signal processor, LCD-display, analog and switch outputs, are fitted in a plastic housing with a degree of protection IP65. The housing can either be mounted directly on a 35 mm mounting rail or screwed to a wall. If the system replaces its predecessor ulm/es/b4, the mounting plate ps/nt:3.09174 can be used to screw the unit to the existing holes.

Connections

External cables are connected via PG-screw connections on the bottom of the housing. The wires are connected to screw terminals inside the housing. The terminals for 1.5 mm˛ are marked for easy installation.
