The ps/ks/j/d sensor measures structure-borne vibration in machine parts. It shows no resonance behaviour in the range of usual machine frequencies as there is no moveable mass.

The integrated amplifier is ICP® compatible which enables the use of long cables.
The sensor is mounted on a flat surface of the machine part to be monitored using two screws.

The sensitive element contains a special sandwich of several piezo-ceramic layers, which is imbedded and hermetically sealed in the sensor body.

ICP is a registered trade mark of PCB Piezotronics Inc.
Attention! On no account may ICP® compatible sensors be directly attached to a voltage source. Operation without a current-limiter leads to immediate destruction of the sensor electronics. The same applies to incorrect poling.

Application
The sensor ps/ks/j/d is designed for the measurement of structure-borne vibration in machine parts.
