The ps/ks/j/c sensor measures structure-borne vibration in machine
parts. It shows no resonance behaviour in the range of usual machine
frequencies as there is no moveable mass.
Impedance is converted by electronics integrated in the housing.
The sensor is mounted on a flat surface of the machine part to be
monitored using two screws.
The sensitive element contains a special sandwich of several
piezo-ceramic layers, which is imbedded and hermetically sealed in the
sensor body.

Application
The sensor ps/ks/j/c is designed for the measurement of structure-borne vibration in machine parts where the following characteristics are important:
- easy assembly
- high signal level
- no moveable mass
- signal amplitude is not dependent upon frequency range.
