The asy/txc/su/c piezo actuator is a highly dynamic Torque-Block^® drive with a single lever for implementation in difficult environmental conditions. In a tightly closed stainless steel housing, two Torque-Block^®s working in parallel, drive a very long, extremely light lever made of laser-soldered, hollow section stainless steel.

Application

The drive is designed for use in applications where very fast and precise movements in the mm-range are required.
It is particularly suited for use in difficult environmental conditions, such as high air humidity, aggressive media, dirt, dust or oil. When implemented in conjunction with a position measuring system, it is possible to achieve position resolutions smaller than 1 µm.
